About Don't Kena

Why is this free?

Because scam awareness shouldn't cost money. This is a community initiative — no ads, no catch, nothing to sell here. It will always be free, for everyone.

Who runs this?

Don't Kena is a community initiative by Major 99 — Family Karaoke & Entertainment Centre in Ang Mo Kio. We meet many seniors and families at our venue, and we built this so more of them can practise spotting scams safely. We put our name on it because a tool that asks for your trust should tell you who is behind it. It remains independent — not affiliated with any government agency.

Who is this for?

Everyone in Singapore, especially those who may be less familiar with digital scams. We designed it for elderly users on phones, but it works for anyone — and it works best when families practise together.

Practice here, protect with ScamShield

This site is practice. ScamShield is protection. Use both. When you're ready, download the ScamShield app to block scam calls and messages, and call the ScamShield Helpline on 1799 any time you want to check something.

Your privacy

We take a radical approach to privacy: we collect nothing. No accounts. No cookies. No analytics. No tracking. No data leaves your phone. Your scores exist only in memory during your session — close the tab and everything disappears.

No tricks, just practice

Every scenario is based on real scam techniques reported in Singapore. The conversations you see are realistic recreations of how scammers actually talk — paraphrased openings only, never a full scam script.
